  • Notes
    • Jonathan was born in Boston, and was the only one of his family, as far as is
known, who came to Medfield with his father. There is no record of the
settlement of his father's estate, but it seems to have been transferred to
him somehow. Jonathan became prominent in town affairs. He was in full
communion with the church prior to 1697. He was appointed Captain in 1712,
and was a representative to the General Court in 1715.
