    • Robert Leete was probably born about 1525, for he was granted a degree of
      Bachelor of Arts in 1544-5, and Master of Arts in 1548. He was a Fellow of
      Saint John's College about 1545. He must have been about 48 years old at the
      time of his marriage to Alice Grundy. Their first child was baptized a mere
      2 1/2 months after their marriage. Apparently he resisted marriage as long
      as possible!
