Notes - George came as a boy with his parents to New England and remained in
Watertown the rest of his life, even when his father returned to England with
his younger brothers and sisters. He married Sarah Brown of Watertown. She
must have died shortly after the birth of their second child, for a year
later he married Mary Pheza (Veazey), who was a widow. There is no record of
any children by this marriage. George lived on the old Parkhurst farm in a
part of Watertown that later became part of Waltham.
