Notes - Helen moved with her parents from New York to Branch Co., MI, then to Grand
Rapids Twp. The Hill family lived near Andrew Warner. Helen married Francis
Warner, and her sister, Lauriette, married Charles Warner. Helen's first
child, Bertha, was born while Francis was gone during the Civil War. Her next
2 children died of Scarlet Fever. George, Fred, and Mabel were born in Grand
Rapids. The last 3 children all died as infants. About 1888, Francis left
her. Helen died at Bertha's house. She is buried alongside her son, George.
