Richard Gage was born Jul 23,1786 at Ferrisburg, Addison Co., VT. He was the seventh of
eight children of Walter Gage and Phoebe Roberts. He married Clarissa Alford on Jun 11,
1807. She was born on SEP 8, 1791 in Ferrisburg, Addison Co., VT. They had twelve children.
She died on Apr 7, 1865 in Cambridge Springs, Crawford Co., PA at the age of 73. He died on
Mar 25, 1870 in Cambridge Springs, Crawford Co., PA at the age of 83.
