Rebecca was born on MAY 30, 1818, the daughter of Jacob Wenrich and Emma Reinert of Heidelberg, Berks County, PA. She had one brother, Peter, who married Mary Ann Hill, daughter of Johannes K. Hill and Catherine Beck. Mary Ann was a sister to Elijah Hill. Rebecca was married to Elijah Hill on Feb. 11, 1836. Elijah and Rebecca raised their family on a farm in Chillisquaque Twp., just west of Pottsgrove along the Milton - Danville Road. Rebecca was confirmed on Feb. 20, 1834 in the Lutheran Church in Columbia County, PA, before that county was divided. She died on May 8, 1908 and was buried next to her husband in the Harmony Cemetery in Milton, PA.
