Display Settings for Windows

From the menu, click Start > Settings > Control Panel. The screen you see will look like this:

Double-click the 'Display' icon. The screen you see will look like this:

Click on the 'Settings' tab at the top of the dialog box. Move the slider indicated by the red arrow until the screen resolution reads '1024 by 768' pixels. Click 'OK' The screen will go black when the change occurs. When the screen comes back, close the control panel. Simply repeat the process to change back to your original setting.
